should we take the republican approach when it comes to the economy

Shoulde we take the republican approach to tackel this economic mess?caused by republicans thereselves.Their approach is pure and simple,its to keep bush tax cuts for the rich,freeze infrarstrucure,growth and development.I think the existence of the republican party is only if independents dont expand their base.I think we should have independent minded citizens,when i say independent it doesnt include flipfloppers like joe liberman.Republican approach has been tried and it has failed and rite now failure is the last thing america needs.
